Life Changes

The other day as i was scrolling through Instagram and saw this quote that really hit me hard with how I am feeling. The quote read “Nothing is worth it if your aren’t happy” Posted by Motivation Monday.

These word hit me, because for some parts of my life I feel like its not worth it and i am not putting my 100% into it.

The truth is my job is dragging me down and I am in need of a way out. I am not happy with where I am currently employed and because of this I feel like its not worth coming in to.

I have talked with friends and family and they keep saying I should find a new place of employment. Yes, that is what I would like to do I just don’t know how to take that step. The step i am having the problem with is do i want to stay where i am in the same position and maybe take the chance of feeling the say way with my next employer or do i change fields.  My heart said i need to changes fields and start something new and this is where I am having The problem, What should my change be. I want to do something that will keep me busy and motivated to want to get up and get out of the house. No something that makes me cry on the way to work.

So my plan is to jump, take a leap and hopefully do well with my next career move. I know that I don’t want to do something that includes sitting behind a desk all day and thinking about the other places I would rather be. Because to me that is the quote “Nothing is worth it if your aren’t happy” My happy would be, being active and always moving. Lets see what I can find.

10 Pounds

 

My goal this month is to be down 10 pounds.

Last month I got myself into a good workout routine. Now that I have started that my next plan is to started a good diet and to pick up the routine so that it will help me start to lose weight and build muscle.

For the month of June, I am going to try the advance 30-day challenge. I am hoping that I can complete this and with a balance, diet loses the 10 pounds.

I will do weight ins weekly to let you know how the challenge is going. Wish me luck because I am going to need it.
To be honest I have never been able to complete a weight loss. I have gotten close to the goal weight and then end up failing. As I will be having to check in, I am hoping this will keep me going as sometimes I need a little push and this blog will be it.

Let’s go 10 lbs, you can get lost!!!

Positive

” One small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day”

I saw this quote pop up one morning on Instagram and after a few days I could not I realized how true it is. If you walk out your door and start your day on a negative side, your whole day will follow like a domino affect.

The reason for knowing this statement is true, is because this is me. I am one of those people that sometimes wakes up with a negative thoughts or attitude and it really ruins my whole day. I just think why do i have to get up? Why do i have to go to that stupid job? Why do i have to get the kids ready this morning? Why me?

I need to start waking up thinking that this day is going to be great! My job is great! My family is the best! My life is wonderful!

The easiest way to start this whole process of positive thinking may be just waking up on a Monday and saying this week is going to be great!

Yes, I agree Mondays can feel like the worst worst day, but if we start wake up thinking they are the best maybe they will be. Maybe they are the beginning of a new amazing week ahead. Why cant Mondays be great. They may just change our approach on the whole week ahead.

That job that sucks, that feels like its weighing you down. Start thinking that you are the best person for that position. You are the one that has all the knowledge, all the ideas, all the skills. Your company though so when they hired yous so you need to think so.

The people you work with, who you see more than anyone else when you really think of it, are great friends. They are the ones that are going to help picking you up when you are down at the office, or maybe its the other way around. You are helping pick them up from feeling down. Pass the positive energy and the off and the whole office could be thanking you.

If you really dislike your job and need out, then start thinking about in a positive way. If you think the job sucks and you will never find a new one then that will be your reality. If you want out do it in a positive way. Update your resume and start thinking that you are the next best hire out there. You are the one! The one that is going to change that company around. The one that is going to get that next interview you have. The one and only for the job.

Family life, Talk to you kids with a positive attitude. Tell them how great they are. How great of a family you are together. I know deep down inside that my family is not perfect but we love each other and cheer each other on. We are our number one supports for every thing. My kids know that they can count on my husband and i to always be there for them. And to your spouse, how much you love them. How they are one of the best things in your life. How you love doing things for them and you love receiving things from them in return. Even if its just a hug. They always say a little goes a long way.

So I am going to end this off by saying, think positive about yourself. Wake up tomorrow morning thinking you got this, and today is going to be an amazing day! If you do it with a smile on your face, I bet that smile stays all day and you will even get a few smiles in return.
