Over the past few week, I have learned a few things, a healthy mind leads to a healthy body.

I have learned this as you may have read before that I am not in the best mindstate when working. I am feeling very overwhelmed not with the job its self but with having to get a family ready and making it to the job on time.

I though starting a new workout routine would help with releasing some of my stress and making me feel good about myself. The workout routine has helped with one of the two, I am starting to feel great about myself and the good changes I am doing for the body. I am so happy that I have it in me to workout almost every evening and burn some calories.

As for the first part, The STRESS! That has not gone away at all. I still feel like I am going crazy every morning trying to get my kids out the door ready for school. Trying not to be late to a job, that in the end is not keeping my attention as my mind wonders throughout the day. And when that happens I feel like more stress has just hit me. The house is a mess and I never have time to clean. We are not eating meals when I want us to or eating as a family like we used to. I am just putting myself down more and more. that is not something that I want or need.

I don’t know at this time how to change these thoughts or a to break free from them stress. I have heard that sometimes just writing it down and talking about it can help.

As I have now written down some thoughts I now have to take the next step to change them. The wondering mind to me is the first step that needs to be changed. As you may have read my past post on why I am feeling the stress and wondering mind and am trying to change it one step at a time.

The road to happiness is the road I want to be on.

Happy Mothers Day

Mothers Day

Today is the day we celebrate all the lovely ladies that brought us into this world, raised us, and or who have taken the responsibility of being a mother to us.

Thank you for all your hard work and sleepless nights. For those days that felt like they would never end and for all the love and support you gave us. Without any of it we would not be the people we are today. We are who we are because of you and we thank you!

As I am a mother, I now know how much hard work and determination goes into being the best mom you can be. The strength us mothers have is unbelievable. Who knew the body could run on one hour of sleep or less. Who knew that you could still love someone so much, even when they are screaming, pooping or vomiting on you. You are doing an amazing job and don’t forget.

The love that I have for my boys is unconditional and I will never stop pushing them to be the best that they can be, because I know they are amazing!

Being a mom is Amazing!!

Day 1

This week has been step one of my road to a healthy, happier life.

I am starting this blog as my push to get fit, get toned and most important to be happy!

I am not a heavy person and would defiantly put myself in the average body type. I am also not unhappy with the way I look i just would like to feel more comfortable in my own skin and not always look at it as the the ugly mom body.  As summer is just around the corner I would like to feel a little more comfortable wearing my shorts, t shirt and of course my swimsuit. I have noticed as I have gotten older I have done a lot more covering up than I used to. I guess that comes with age and maybe being a mom could have something to do with that too!

So here it goes. My time to change and be happy with me and how I am and am going to be. My goal I am looking to achieve, is to feel more active and get out a whole lot more. I want to spend time with my boys running around and playing. Taking them on adventures and not having to worry about getting tired doing it. Not that this have ever happened to me in the past but you never know, tomorrow could be that day where I just cant keep up with them and I really just don’t want that.

My other goal is to look for tasty recipes that are healthy for me and my family. They will have be fast one as my week day evening don’t have tons of time.

I would also love to hear from you. All you fitness freaks with amazing workout routines, you foodies with great cooking ideas and all you extremely happy people, please share as I would love to hear what works for all of you.
